What could you do with a yurt?
There are so many possibilities with a yurt! 2021 the year of the yurt! Validate your freedom!
A yurt is a portable, circular dwelling made of a lattice of flexible poles and covered with upgraded vinyl. They are a sturdy, reliable type of tent. Yurts have been the primary style of home in Central Asia, particularly Mongolia, for thousands of years. Yurts take between 30 minutes and 3 hours to set up or take down, and usually house between five and 15 people. They are usually a little over 2 meters (6 feet) high, with a slightly domed top rising another meter. A wood-burning iron stove sits in the middle of a traditional yurt, with a long chimney reaching up past the roof. You can add a stove and furniture to your liking.
Our basic yurt offers a window and steel door. Of course you have two tone sturdy vinyl and Douglas fir beams. Check our pricing page for extras.
The lattice is 7′ 2″ tall allowing height for a house size door be installed. Ceiling is high pitch allowing stand up height. Room available for sleeping loft. If a wood burning stove is desired, it should exit out the side so there no interference with the skylight.
